Iva spent the first few years working with restaurant designers Larry Bogdanow and Warren Ashworth setting marketing priorities and raising the firm’s presentation standards. Extensive national and local press coverage, along with several important design awards, brought about the realization of all our goals: working with clients who were better funded, north of 23rd Street and more national. From an office of six people we became over twenty; billings increased fourfold. Major new commissions included the public spaces at the Tribeca Grand Hotel; a large Chart House in Weehawken, New Jersey; a new Legal Seafoods in Park Square, Boston; the restaurants Sono, City Hall and Atlas in New York City; and a new store prototype for Starbucks Coffee Company.
